The F1-R is labeled as a floating model, but don’t expect it to behave like a typical floater. It has much lower buoyancy and almost “hangs” in the water, rising very slowly on the pause. This makes it a great option when fish are following but not committing, or when you need to keep the bait in the zone just a little longer.

This low buoyancy floating model produces a tighter, more active rolling action and stays in the strike zone longer, making it especially effective in pressured water or when fish are less aggressive.

It excels on a steady retrieve or subtle rod work, giving you more control over depth and presentation compared to the standard F1.

A great follow-up option when fish won’t commit.
