Every Brown is Different
One of the things that makes the San Juan River so special is the incredible variation in its brown trout. While some fish are bright silver, others develop rich golden and copper tones like this beautiful fish caught by Paul's fishing partner. Same river, same species—completely different personalities beneath the surface.

Big-Water Brown
Big water, big current, big attitude. This brown hammered a Smith Niakis spinner mid-drift and bulldogged downstream before giving up inches at a time. Whether Bill was working a Niakis or a hand-tied marabou jig, Bill just kept solving the river—and it paid off in a big way.
21 Incher
One of our great customers landed this 21-inch tank in heavily pressured public water on a Palms Alexandra 43mm. This old beast likely dodged anglers for years—until it met the right plug in the right hands!
