Forest Factor Finesse Rotation Spoon Set — Instructions Included Below
$59.99
Made in Japan
This finesse rotation system is built for pressured trout and subtle conditions, using three key Factor weights (0.9g, 1.2g, 1.8g) to dial in the exact level of presence trout will commit to.
Includes 9 Forest Factor spoons:
• 0.9g (3 colors)
• 1.2g (3 colors)
• 1.8g (3 colors)
Where to Start
Start with the 1.2g spoon in the lowest-numbered color, then adjust weight and color based on trout response.
All spoons include factory barbless single hooks.
Forest recommends using snaps for ideal action and quick rotation changes.
How This Kit Differs
Compared to the MIU rotation, this system leans lighter, slower, and more subtle — designed specifically for follow-to-bite situations.
Use it when trout are:
following but not committing
pressured or cautious
holding higher in the water column
responding better to slower, lighter presentations
Note:
Each kit is hand-picked and curated to include a balanced range of low-, mid-, and high-presence colors across all three weights. Curated selections may vary slightly between kits.

What’s Inside
• Forest Factor spoons (9 total)
• 0.9g — 3 colors
• 1.2g — 3 colors
• 1.8g — 3 colors
• Single barbless hooks installed
Where to Start
Begin with the 1.2g spoon in the lowest-numbered color.
Use a steady retrieve—about 1 turn per second.
This assumes trout are feeding or willing to chase.
Presentation Adjustments Based on Trout Behavior
If trout show no interest at all, increase presence by moving up in weight (more visibility and vibration) or
selecting a lower-numbered color (stronger flash and a more assertive tone).
If trout chase but do not commit, reduce presence by moving down in weight (less vibration and a softer profile)
or selecting a higher-numbered color (softer flash and a more subtle tone).
Color Number Guide
• Low-numbered colors = brighter, higher presence
• Mid-numbered colors = natural, balanced presence
• High-numbered colors = subtle, low presence
Choose both weight and color based on trout feedback — more presence when they aren’t reacting, more
subtlety when they’re cautious.
Quick Reference
• 1.8g = more casting distance, slightly deeper water, better control in light current
• 1.2g = balanced starting point for finesse conditions
• 0.9g = shallow water, slow retrieves, calm conditions, pressured fish
Note: Forest recommends using a snap with your spoons to maintain full action and maximum freedom of movement during the retrieve.
Just follow this easy system — the trout will tell you what to do next.
